Before Your Treatment
Schedule with Comfort in Mind: While truSculpt requires zero downtime, you may experience mild redness and warmth in the treated area for a few hours post-procedure. Plan your day around a deeply warming, comfortable treatment session.
Prep Your Body (as recommended by your provider):
Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water for 24–48 hours before your session to optimize the RF energy delivery.
Shave the treatment area prior to your appointment if there is dense hair present.
Remove all jewelry, piercings, and lotions from the target area on the day of treatment.
Arrive Ready: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the treatment areas.
Aftercare and Recovery
Immediate Effects: The treated area will feel warm and look flushed or red, similar to a heating pad application. This typically resolves within a few hours. The area may also feel slightly tender to the touch for a few days.
Post-Treatment Tips:
Drink plenty of water after your treatment to assist your body’s lymphatic system in naturally flushing out the disrupted fat cells.
You may return to normal activities, including heavy workouts and sun exposure, immediately following the procedure.
Gently massage the treated area for a few minutes daily if recommended by your provider to support the contouring process.
During Your Treatment
What to Expect: Handpieces are placed on the target area, or a gliding wand is used. As the treatment begins, you will feel a cycling warming sensation. Many clients compare the feeling to a soothing hot stone massage.
