Intense Pulse Light (IPL)
Intense Pulse Light (IPL)
Brighten + Restore Radiance
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a non-invasive light-based treatment that targets unwanted pigmentation, redness, and visible signs of aging. By delivering controlled pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin, IPL helps break down discoloration and stimulates collagen production for a clearer, more even-toned complexion.
For best results, multiple sessions are typically required. All sales are final. We strongly recommend booking a complimentary consultation prior to purchase to ensure the treatment is right for you and to create a personalized plan.

Before Your Treatment
✔ Avoid Sun Exposure:
Avoid tanning, sunburn, and self-tanners for at least 2–4 weeks before your IPL session. Sun exposure increases the risk of irritation or hyperpigmentation.
✔ Pause Active Skincare Products:
Discontinue retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and exfoliants for 5–7 days before your appointment. Let your provider know if you’re using any prescription skincare or acne medications.
✔ Be Transparent About Your Skin & Medical History:
Tell your provider about any recent treatments, medications (especially antibiotics or Accutane), or skin sensitivities.
During Your Treatment
✔ What to Expect:
You’ll wear protective eyewear, and a cooling gel may be applied. The IPL handpiece delivers light pulses that feel like a mild snap or rubber band flick—quick and tolerable.
✔ Session Time:
Most treatments take 15–45 minutes, depending on the area. Skin may appear pink or slightly swollen immediately after, like a mild sunburn.
Aftercare and Recovery
✔ Post-Treatment Skin Response:
Mild redness, sensitivity, or warmth is normal and usually fades within a few hours to a day. Dark spots may temporarily darken before flaking or fading over the next 3–7 days.
✔ What to Avoid:
No hot showers, saunas, or workouts for 24–48 hours.
Avoid sun exposure, harsh skincare, and exfoliation for at least 1 week.
Use gentle cleansers, hydrating products, and broad-spectrum SPF daily.
Get the Most Out of IPL with a Treatment Plan + Targeted Add-Ons
For the best results, IPL should be done in a series of 3–6 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart, depending on your skin type and concerns. To maintain and enhance your outcomes, we recommend a combination of proper at-home skincare (including antioxidant serums, gentle exfoliants, and broad-spectrum SPF) along with hydrating facials between sessions to support healing and maintain skin balance. We may also incorporate LED light therapy to calm inflammation and brighten your complexion. A consistent routine both in-clinic and at home is key to achieving radiant, even-toned skin.
