SkinCeuticals® Peel
SkinCeuticals® Peel
Illuminate, Resurface + Renew
The SkinCeuticals GL Peel is a clinical-grade chemical exfoliation treatment combining glycolic and lactic acids to promote cellular turnover, refine skin texture, and reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Designed for all skin types, this peel delivers visible radiance with minimal downtime and gentle yet effective resurfacing.
For best results, multiple sessions are typically required. All sales are final. We strongly recommend booking a complimentary consultation prior to purchase to ensure the treatment is right for you and to create a personalized plan.
The GL Peel is specifically designed to target skin concerns such as uneven skin tone, fine lines, dullness, and hyperpigmentation. It is particularly effective in improving the appearance of sun-damaged skin and promoting skin renewal by encouraging the turnover of new skin cells. After the treatment, skin appears brighter, more even-toned, and rejuvenated.
What It Does:
Accelerates Cell Turnover: Promotes the shedding of dead skin cells to reveal healthier, more youthful-looking skin beneath
Refines Texture and Tone: Smooths roughness + uneven patches while enhancing clarity and luminosity
Brightens Dull Complexion: Targets dullness and discoloration to restore a vibrant, radiant glow
Hydrates While Resurfacing: Thanks to lactic acid, the peel provides exfoliation without excessive dryness or irritation
Ideal For:
Dull or tired-looking skin
Uneven texture or tone
Fine lines or early signs of aging
Mild hyperpigmentation or sun damage
Congested skin or enlarged pores
Clients new to chemical peels or looking for a gentle maintenance option
How to Prep for the GL Peel:
5–7 Days Before:
Discontinue retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliating agents
Avoid waxing or laser treatments on the area to be treated
Minimize sun exposure and avoid tanning beds
Day of Treatment:
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Avoid using any active products the night before
Let your provider know about any recent changes to your skincare or medication
Immediately After:
Expect mild redness or sensitivity for up to 24 hours
Skin may feel tight or warm but should not be painful
First 2–3 Days:
Use a gentle, hydrating cleanser and fragrance-free moisturizer
Avoid direct sun, excessive heat, sweating, and harsh products
Do not exfoliate or pick at the skin
Daily Essentials:
Apply SPF 50+ daily as sun protection is critical to prevent pigmentation after a peel
Hydrate consistently with serums or moisturizers containing hyaluronic acid, ceramides, or calming ingredients
Avoid retinols or exfoliants until skin has fully recovered (typically 5-7 days)
Commit to a Peel Program
While a single chemical peel can refresh your skin, the best results come from a structured peel program. We recommend a series of 6 peels, spaced every 7–10 days, to deeply target concerns like acne, pigmentation, dullness, or uneven texture. This consistent approach allows your skin to gradually build results without overwhelming it + leads to visibly clearer, brighter and smoother skin.
