How does it work?
Juvasonic® combines the benefits of microdermabrasion, sonophoresis and LED technology to offer a needleless longevity and wellness. It utilizes a one-time use, sterile cartridge thats surface resembles to finely cut diamonds and at the same time porous. What is sonophoresis?
Sonophoresis is a gentle, painless and relaxing way of increasing the depth and rate of absorption of active skincare ingredients (like vitamins A, C, hyaluronic acid, collagen boosters, peptides, growth factors, exosomes, PDRN Salmon DNA…) deep into the skin by up to 800 times.
The use of low-frequency ultrasound (5–100 kHz) to enhance percutaneous absorption of molecules is called sonophoresis or phonophoresis. The proposed mechanisms that enhance skin penetration include acoustic cavitation, thermal effects, and mechanical perturbation of the Startum Corneum (SC).
Application of ultrasound waves, generated by a piezoelectric crystal, leads to the formation of microbubbles in the coupling medium. Collapse of these bubbles at the surface of stratum corneum gives rise to shock waves which render the skin permeable and enhance transdermal permeation.
